About Us

Mission Statement

“Striving to create awareness of the impact that the arts can have on the individual and community through concerts, commissioned works, and workshops.”

Paul Delgado Singers is a professional chamber choir and non-profit company based in Southern California. The ensemble presents concerts of classic repertoire and new, commissioned works throughout the year. The ensemble is comprised of musicians from throughout Southern California, predominantly graduates of prestigious college and university music programs. Our singers have a variety of backgrounds in music, specializing in genres such as early music, opera, vocal jazz, barbershop, and other classical and contemporary styles.

The choir began as an eight-member caroling group formed during the Christmas season of 2006. After gaining popularity and enjoying increased performance opportunities, PDS progressed into a yearly active advanced chamber choir. The ensemble has toured Northern Italy, and select members participated in a recording session for the 007: Quantum of Solace video game soundtrack which was released in 2008. PDS has performed twice as a guest choir with the LA Philharmonic Brass Ensemble, and in 2012 was chosen as the new featured choir for the annual Rose Hills Easter Sunrise Service. In 2014 the ensemble premiered five works by modern composers, including Frank La Rocca and JAC Redford, at the CFAMC Conference hosted by Biola University’s Conservatory of Music.

Paul Delgado Singers is a non-profit 501-c(3) tax exempt company.
